Successfull Thanksgiving 5 Tips To Enjoy The Day To The Fullest

Well well let's take a moment to refect on the year as we get ready to Thanksgiving... Where has the year really gone?

Seems like it just started and here we are getting close to Thanksgiving day.

Take a moment to reflect on the year and then pull the boots on and get started for one of the best days of the year Thanksgiving that is well at least for me it is fun.

Tips to enjoy the day to it's fullest.

Tip number one Start a few days early on getting the baked good ready such as cookies pies breads ect. You know the stuff that can sit a few days and not get old and dried out.

Pecan pie is one of my all time favorite sweet stuff which can be baked a few day early ... well wait a minute can one really wait to cut into the pecan pie hmmmm shh no one will know that more than one was made.

Tip number two do your best to balance out the day .... what and who will bring some items to help out on this special day. Get your meal plans together and ask for those in attendance to bring something they really like. And it is okay to call the local baker for a few items as well. Mom's bakery in Sherman has wonderful rolls and pies which can be a great help in gaining balance to the day.

Tip number three Pay attention to the details of the day... get online and see what kind of decorating you can do yourself that will help in making the day memoriable for all that can attend. Check out Instagram and see what others are doing.

Tip number four Gather a few pumpkins bales of hay and have some fun decorating ... this is what is out front of our office. Super fun and not so much money either. Well the hay may cost you a few dollars but what the hay it was fun right.

Tip number five... Skip black friday stuff and just stay home with your family and friends. Relax the day away and just stay home. Get online and find a few  new way to make use of the left overs we know we all have. Take a few pictures of the new meal and post them on line for your social media friends to enjoy.

What ever it is that you are doing for Thanksgiving take a few moments for yourself and relax enjoy the day. Reflect on good memories with family and friends.

Take alot of pictures of what ever it is your doing going out to lunch is good as well. Smile and say hello to someone you never know it just may make thier day.
